Contemporary Romance Author
Amazon Best Selling, Award winning, and multiple RONE Award Finalist Linda Joyce writes contemporary romance—some sweet, some sensual— featuring assertive females and the men who can’t resist them. She also writes women’s fiction. Cozy mysteries are her new favorite genre. She’s also published in several anthologies from memoirs to poetry. A resident of metro-Atlanta, she and her very patient husband share a home with Max and Jake, the fur babies running everything—they think Linda is their pet. Linda is a closet artist who paints with a brush and loves trying new crafts…but hates getting her hands messy. She’s addicted to Cajun food and sushi. Linda will deny she can’t ever go to sleep unless she’s turned (or swiped) the pages of a book.
More about Linda
Linda is a big fan of jazz and blues, and she attributes her love of music to her southern roots, which run deep in Louisiana. Courtesy of her father’s Air Force career, she lived coast to coast in the U.S. and wrote her first manuscript when she lived in Japan where her mother was born. During recess, girls lined up on the bleachers, like birds on a wire, and took turns reading and passing Linda’s pages to the next girl in line. In addition to being a book addict, Linda is a foodie—a fangirl of celebrity chefs, loves to hike and kayak in spring and summer, binge watch movies in the winter, and when the days cool and the leaves begin to turn in the fall, she’s all smiles over college football.
Factoids
Linda is a member of Atlanta Writers Club, Southeastern Writers Association, and Romance Writers of America.Crossing the stage for a cap and gown ceremony, Linda received a B.S. in Business from the University of Florida, and did a stretch in corporate America working in insurance claims litigation. She graduated with honors from high school, and immediately following, she graduated from cosmetology school.
