LRWA Anthology publication
March 15, 2025
New Lowcountry RWA Anthology
I recently signed up to write a 10,000-word short-story romance to be included in Lowcountry RWA’s anthology for 2025, which has a March release date. Ideas are swimming in my head! Did you enjoy my story in the last anthology? A Sunrise Christmas was my first intentional foray into magical realism. This story will tackle some themes different from romance stories I’ve written in the past. The “vacation” part will be set on the Isle of Palms, aka IOP.

Lust in the Lowcountry Romancecon
There will be a book signing by the authors of Lowcountry RWA Vacation Anthology. I hope to attend this event in Charleston, South Carolina. It’s a great place with so much to offer in spring. And, I may have other books there to sign as well. Please check out the link and consider joining the authors there! https://www.litlowcountry.com/

Status of Marcèline’s Mysteries
Book two of Marcèline’s Mysteries is in the works. I expect to finish it by the end of July, then I’ll be looking for Beta Readers, and I’ll also start on the final story in that trilogy. A publication schedule for this series is still to be determined. Please peek at my boards on Pinterest. There’s one for each writing project.
Projects In Progress
December 1, 2025
What else is in the works?
I haven’t given up on Bayou Brothers, book 5 of the Fleur de Lis series. If everything goes well, I might be able to finish it by the end of 2024. There may be a release date in in 2025. Also, I’m dusting off the work-in-progress for book two of the Harvest, Kansas story. It’s on the writing calendar for 2025.
New Women’s Fiction Project
December 1, 2025
Research for new women’s fiction book
My newest love is a project in the very early planning stages. I will be traveling this fall to do research for that book. The story is extra special to me. I think it will take me about a year to write it. I look forward to introducing you to these new and unique characters. And…of all the characters I’ve written, the main protagonist will be the most like me. The story will have much of its roots in my life, though it is not a memoir.
