I love Pecan pie. M
I was really missing some family treats this year. My grandmother’s Cherry Spice Cake…6 layers of sweet goodness and iced in a Carmel icing. She always made peanut brittle, date loaf candy, sand tart cookies, and Divinity.
When we lived in Hereford, about 6 of my parents friends would get together and the men would make candy. One guy’s dad had been a candy maker… He made the best brittles peanut and pecan and English toffee. My dad was the fudge maker. Chocolate drops, carmalized pecans, and peppermint. It was great fun.
Crystal,
I had never made toffee until I made it with you and your family. That’s a really happy memory of mine.
Hugs,
Linda

I love warm apple pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It tastes so good! Thank you for the fun <3
Amber,
Apple pie is my all-time favorite pie. I think I’m going to do some recipe testing this year to discover the one I love best.
And, I’m going to learn to make flaky crust. Any suggestions?
Smiles,
