The days are actually starting to get shorter. Yet, the sun is blazing hotter. Summer is slipping through my fingers like sugar-fine sand. Hope your days are going great. For more of my summertime fun, check out my Instagram page or author page on Facebook.
If you’re a newsletter subscriber, you’ll know this is the post where you drop your comment to be entered to win a $20 restaurant gift card. In all the Jubilee, Georgia books, there are recipes. There are characters who own restaurants and many who meet up there…for the sunsets on Fancy Bluff Creek, maybe a glass of wine, and to check out some of the tourist they don’t know. Could you be one of them?
Remember, you must include the Where, What, and When in your post.
Can’t wait to read your comments! And who knows, you might find elements of your special meal in a book in the future.
Happy Reading,

My favorite summer meal is picnic food, in particular, my mother makes the best cold macaroni salad. I’ve tried to duplicate it to no avail! My extended family gathers along one of the beaches along the CT shoreline and we have potluck picnics at least once a month, more if we can, depending upon everyone’s schedules. There is nothing better than good food, time with family, and a lazy afternoon on the shoreline. Happy summer!
When we were young every summer we would go visit our aunt in Charleston, SC. One of our dinners would always be fresh peeled shrimp, loads of it! We couldn’t wait for shrimp night! Till this day I still love shrimp any kind of way!
